The oldest form shows several fruits or thorns set out neatly together.
用法
- Functions as an adjective for things being even, aligned, or all-present: 整齐 zhěngqí "neat/orderly" (rows, appearance), 齐全 qíquán "complete, nothing missing" (设备齐全 "fully equipped").
- 一齐 yìqí is an adverb meaning "simultaneously/all at once," describing coordinated timing: don't confuse it with 一起 yìqǐ "together," which is about being in the same place or doing something as companions.
- 齐心协力 qíxīn xiélì is a common idiom for uniting effort, everyone pulling together toward one goal.
