- A path, or a diameter: 途径 (tújìng) means/channel, 捷径 (jiéjìng) shortcut, 小径 (xiǎojìng) a narrow path.
- Math: 直径 (zhíjìng) diameter, 半径 (bànjìng) radius, 口径 (kǒujìng) caliber/bore.
- 径直 (jìngzhí) / 径自 (jìngzì) = straight/directly (without detour). 田径 (tiánjìng) = track and field.
